I embed my .bbl file (generated by bibtex) into by .tex file. This seems like a dumb requirement to me but I don't
make the rules. I assume it's so they have to deal with
only one file instead of two.
Now, since I generate my .tex file from my lyx file, I must do this embedding manually which is not hard to do but easy to forget if you make additional changes to your lyx file and must regenerate your .tex file.
I know its a dumb request but it would be nice if lyx could do this for me automattically if I set some flag.
I certainly don't expect to see this implemented soon but thought it worth mentioning.
