I just installed Lyx 1.2.3 here (SunOS 5.8 Ultra-5_10). We had previously been using Lyx 1.1.6.fix4.
The configure/make/make install proceeded without a hitch. However - when I fired up Lyx - the capability to export to PDF was not there. I only have ASCII/Latex/Custom as options. This export to PDF was available in the 1.1.6 version. Has anyone seen this - can share some insight into possibilities. BTW: In the meantime, I'm trying to install lyxport as a workaround.
