Getting viewers in Lyx on Windows XP with Cygwin/XFree86

I've installed cygwin/XFree86, Miktex, and Lyx on my Windows XP system. I can 
start Lyx from a desktop icon without any problem, open files, save them etc. 
What I can't do is preview or export the files. I go to View and there are no 
menu options for DVI, HTML, etc. The first option under View is for Update, 
and the submenu only gives me an option of ASCII and LaTeX. Peter
