Thank you for your response, I had plenty of time the last days that's because my response is a little late. Yes it seems to be a problem with foiltex. Sometimes when I change the page format from landscape to portrait, the printer produces rubbish. I tried out seminar.sty but now I got a similar problem: I have some foils in landscape format and some in portrait format. I nested the enveroments with lyx in the correct way but when I try to view them with kdvi or ggv the slide margins are absoluty incorrect and when I try to print it, all slides are printed in landscape even I set up kdvi to print the slide in portrait mode. Is it not possible to change that? Let's say: First slide = landscape, second slide=portrait, etc? (And got a correct print result of course?) Regards Thorsten
