Hi For those of you interested in writing music, i.e. lyrics and chords, you might be interested in the .layout-file I've created for using the LaTeX Songbook style together with LyX.

With this package and layout files, you can easily put chords above text, and it will be shown in a nice way in both LyX and the output.
