I think I have found a bug with lists+minipages.
Use this sample lyx file under lyx-1.1.6fix4.
Go to the first item, open the paragraph pop up and check minipage, set the width to 50%.
When you do a view ps, it works fine.
Do a undo.
Try to view ps and latex gives a lot of error.
To correct the file, you must go to the second item of the list, open the paragraph popup and uncheck
minipage.
