Hello Kayvan,

that's what I was taking a bet at, but no way.
Compiler requires an appropriate xpm package?
Here is translated citation of the related message:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lX11
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
+ rm -f libXpm.so.4
+ ln -f libXpm.so.4.11 libXpm.so.4
ln: acess to »libXpm.so.4.11«: file or directory not found
make[1]: *** [libXpm.so.4.11] error 1
make[1]: *** waiting for still running processes....
ranlib libXpm.a
make[1]: *** waiting for ....(like before)
make[1]: *** waiting for....
make[1]: leaving diretories of directory »/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/xpm-3.4k/lib«
make: *** [all] error 2
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.71714 (%build)

Since libXpm.so.4.11 resides in /usr/X11R6/lib/ I guess another version is required !?

Thomas

You need to uninstall your previous xforms, then compile the xforms.src.rpm
and it will work correctly.
