Cygwin/XFree86 > Try oving your ~/.lyx directory to another name and have lyx recreate it. hmm. perhaps "moving"? ok. Result: When I press shift-2 I get @. Then I go to the config menu and choose the keyboard table "geman.kmap". Result: When I press shift-2 I get @. Then I stop LyX and start it again. Result: When I press shift-2 I get " (the inch symbol). Now I choose "geman-2.kmap" and restart LyX. Result: When I press shift-2 I get " (the inch symbol). Now I choose "geman-3.kmap" and restart LyX. Result: When I press shift-2 I get " (the inch symbol). Now I choose "european.kmap" and restart LyX. Result: When I press shift-2 I get @. Now I choose "french.kmap" and restart LyX. Result: When I press shift-2 I get 2. This is not funny :( Please help! Marcus http://www.d4cms.com
