There is no point releasing a frontend that has big missing features
(like no tabular dialog).

There are no docs. It is still under development. If you want to help
test it out, that's fine, but please bear in mind it's under
development.
For example, if you're having keyboard problems, please give exact cases
where it fails, along with lyx -dbg logs, and post to the developer's
list. And hopefully somebody who understands "foreign" (if you'll excuse
me) input/languages/fonts can fix it
