I try to cross reference an existing footnote. As suggested several times in this mailing list I tried to put a label into the footnote and then cross reference it. Unfortunately already putting a label inside the footnote is sufficient to generate 5 error messages.: "missing \cr inserted maketitle ..." I think this problem maybe connected to the paragraph type (author) in which I use these footnotes. Your help is really appreciated! Cheers Jörn
