I'd like to have a section of a LyX document be revision history using the CVS $Log$ tag. The problem is that LyX seems to reformat the $Log$ entry, which is multiple lines separated by single linebreaks, into a single ugly line.
I've tried using the verbatim and listings packages, but they don't stop LyX from reformatting the text between the \begin{...} and \end{...} statements. I've also tried prefacing $Log$ with \newline, but when the document is saved LyX replaces: \newline $Log$ with a multiple-line statement, which breaks CVS's behavior of taking whatever comes before the $Log$ as a comment character and reproducing it on all other log lines. Anyone have a way of making this work? I'm really new to LyX so apologies if there is some obvious answer to this (I did look at mailing list archives before posting) Thanks for any help, -- Daniel Clark # Sys Admin & Release Engineer IBM > Lotus > Messaging Technology Group
