Some web browsers like Netscape are loosing extensions like zip, gz
or tgz when a file is downloaded via this special browser. Or may
be the "human creator" of your file made a mistake :)
Is there any *.lyx file in the archive? If not than the author has
made a _big_ mistake while creating this zip archive. I've no idea
how this could happen.
