I have used SuSE7.2 and compiled LyX since version 1.1.6fix3 to 4, then LyX version 1.2.0pre4 to stable without any problem. I didn't use rpms lyx (always from souces) and the xforms lib is still from SuSE7.2. Now, I still use LyX-1.1.6fix4, LyX-1.2.0 (for my main documents), and KLyX (sometimes I need for re-arrange my document structure). Wayan
