Hi, I have tried to install 1.2.0 on our local Redhat 6.2 system with egcs release 1.1.2, but without luck. What can I do to install the new version?
My problems: 1) When I tried to install lyx-1.2.0-1.i386.rpm, I get the message that libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so.3 is required 2) Then I tried to locate this library with rpmfind on the redhat server, but it was not available there. 3) Last I downloaded the src.rpm and thried the rebuild. Unfortunately this ended with an internal compiler error. Does anybody have an idea what else I could try? I really would like to have a look at the new version - the announcements sounds really good!
