I can't type with lyx 1.2.0. I tried the precompiled rpm package, then I compiled it myself but when I try to type words in lyx I get nothing except the "unknown function" message in the status bar. What is weird is that 1.2.0pre4 worked fine. I have Mandrake 8.2 on an Athlon system ans I compiled with the gcc 2.96 provided with the distrib.
