Hi,

Two issues:

1. Is there a way by which I can set some option to put some space below
and above a line which has Math content in it. Thing is now, if I have some
fractions on a line and if I use the default vertical line spacing, the
next line is too close to the line with the fraction b'cos of the fraction
going a bit below the usual characters. Hence I have to select these lines
and change the vertical spacing between them.

2. I'm trying to get a bold beta symbol and I tried using \mathbf{\beta} in
the Math mode but it doesn't work (still shows the normal beta). And the
interesting thing is that when I tried \mathbf{\Delta}, the big Delta did
appear bold. What I want is a bold beta symbol denoting that it is a vector
(ideally it should be a "straight" bold beta and not a slanting bold beta..
the usual beta has a slant)

Please let me know if the above can be achieved..

Thanks,
nirmal
