\EUR 25 or \EURofc 25 for the "real and only official" symbol.
This package can be found on CTAN, but requires the installation of
adobe's eurofont-package for use of T1-fonts.
detailed instructions are in the package's README. In comparison to the
three (or so) other euro-packages this one had far the best-looking ¤-Sign
The conversion of the eurofont.map from windows/mac-names to unix-names
can be abit of a hassle, but googling around will get you a result ;-)
