I just installed Lyx and when I try to use the File>Open menu I get an Alert message that says:
LyX Internal Error Could not test if directory is writeable. No such file or directory. What directory is it to which this alert refers? I have checked the permissions on all of the .lyx directories and they are all writeable and user owned. Ian.
