You may also create a link to fake the lyx language name, here: #ls -l /usr/local/lib/aspell/ ... french -> francais ... frenchb -> francais (francais is the name of the french disctinary I use in aspell). Whatever the babel option, I'm always OK with the language of document. -- Jean-Pierre
