Hi, it is said in Herbert's Float Tips page that it is possible to control individual placement of floats if you write in the float "as the very first line in TeX" the control parameters for example [htb]. It is not working for me, the "[htb]" is not understood by TeX and is shown as text in the figure float in the caption or near the figure ... I use LyX version 1.0.4, is this the problem ? (Unfortunately I cannot upgrade right now !) Or can someone send a short example that works so I could check if it works for me too.
