This works great once you output the file to dvi (or whatever).
But I really need to see the indents when I write. If I don't see
indents for every paragraph, then all my text looks like one big
block.

I could simply tell lyx to separate each paragraph by .7 inches.
But then I have blocks of paragraph. If you are wondering why
that is unacceptable to me, it is because I write a lot of
dialog, with short lines. It looks terrible to see big spaces
between these lines. In fiction, space between paragraph means a
break in action, or the passage of time. So when I see these
white spaces, it doesn't even look like writing to me, but notes.

So I am hopping that there is a way to make normal paragraphs,
the kind you see in most (fiction) books.
