page numbers

Hi!

I've configured Lyx to put the page numbers in the foot of each page. It 
works fine. However, at the beginning, I have two pages of TOC and I want 
them to be counted in roman figures (I, II, III ...) and then start with page 
one (arabic letters). I'm not enough into Lyx or Latex to know how it can be 
done - though I'm sure that it CAN be done. A hint where to look such things 
up in the future would also be very welcome.
