I think what happened is: Now I understand after your e-mail.. Yesterday i
was at school and I made an X connection to my machine at home. I started
to use LyX. My school terminal has low-display capabilities. Somehow LyX
adjusted itself to a limited color set. Now it doesn't change. I have to
go under Edit - Preferences - Look and Feel and adjust each type of color
again.

Is there an easy way of doing it? Also, how can I prevent it in the
future?
