Obviously it is a Mandrake problem. I was one of the first people facing the
problem. This problem was not there with Mand. 7.2 and I didn't hear anyone
else dealing with this unless they use M8.
As to what's wrong, honestly I have no idea... Something related to Xforms
maybe?

Is this a LyX or a Mandrake problem?
If the former: What exactly is wrong?
If the latter, somebody should tell the Mandrake people to fix their
distribution...
