Are you sure? Don't trust how gv displays them on screen, I think it uses a
low-res embedded preview of some type. Print a page out and see if you
actually have a resolution problem. If that is the case, then I don't know
what your problem is. Also remember to use the option
convert filein.jpeg eps2:fileout.eps
which gives smaller files and basically leaves the original jpeg embedded
untouched.
