creating index entries automatically

Hi there,

is there a possibility to let LyX create index entries automatically like MS WORD ? 
WORD uses an additional document with a table with 2 columns to automatically find the 
words to be indexed (first column) and adds the description, that will be listed in 
the index (second column).
It's very circumstantial to this manually for each word.
Could anybody help ?
