You mean that you want ALL text (normal text and math mode) in bold ?
I don't think that this is a good idea, but you can have your own opinion.

I prepared several presentations with lyx
(http://www.math.tau.ac.il/~dekelts/slides/)
and this wasn't much of a problem.

You can also change the size of the text in the slide by putting a font size
command at the beginning of the slide.

Use two \vfill command (and some slide styles center the text automatically,
e.g. seminar).
