My name is George, and I have just come back to using LyX after a 10+
year absence.
I have been very impressed by the changes that have been made during
this long period (I remember the old UI and all the hacking that went
into some packages extended to add functionality).
I have a series of questions (just two or three) which I will send
separate emails to the list to keep them as separate threads.
The question for this email is this: I was doing a bit of looking around
for DocBook documentation, and I noticed that the OASIS DockBook
Technical Committee has closed as of September, 2024

What does this mean for the future of support for DocBook in LyX?
