Just a thought: If this combination of symbols occurs frequently through
your document, you should have created a math macro for. Then you would
only need to change it in one place, and you ensure consistency by using
the macro.
Second thought: It might be much easier to do this by opening the LyX
file in a text editor and doing the search and replace there. LyX files
are just text files.
