From the above directory:
# ./kpsewhich moderncvcolors.tex
/usr/local/texlive/2024/texmf-dist/tex/latex/moderncv/moderncvcolors.tex
it should print the current directory. If not then there is something
wrong with the path setting.
Isn't that the proper directory?
