I'll plan to do the release of 2.3.3 before long.

I should learn how to build on Windows so I can test this kind of thing.

This line is the problem:

frametitleaboveskip=\dimexpr?\ht\strutbox\relax

Delete it and it should work. Maybe a bug in mdframed or
a change to the keyword frametitleaboveskip
