You might take a look at various other theorem packages at CTAN, e.g. ntheorem,
thmtools, and several others in the topic Math theorem
(https://ctan.org/topic/maths-theorem)

Onderwerp: My book gets a new layout

Dear community,

I am still working on my KOMA math book. So far I had tried in vain to insert
text-covered graphics in color boxes. Riki Heck then advised me to contact
Stack Exchange. I didn't get through with my request because my mail was
considered spam, probably because so many users had already made a similar
request. However, I couldn't quite make heads or tails of the replies.

As a result, I revised the entire layout of my book so that neither color boxes
nor text-covered graphics are used. I will display each graphic separately so
that it appears at the top or bottom of a page: In any case, each graphic
should have a short descriptive text (which will also be cited in the list of
illustrations) and possibly a long descriptive text as well. I have consulted
the Internet and have now come up with a solution that is a real mix of LYX and
TEX code.

My question is: Is it possible to achieve the same result by pushing it even
further in the direction of LYX so that as little TEX code as possible appears?

Since I no longer use color boxes, I will display all theorem, definitions,
remarks, examples, tasks, solutions, proofs, etc. separately. I will use the
package amsthm (header plus subsequent body text) and display the header in
italics, bold and in different colors, depending on whether it is a sentence, a
definition, an example or a task.

This indentation is necessary to distinguish all these “theorems” from the rest
of the text (I used to do this with color boxes ...). It will also be necessary
to add some kind of closing character to the right, at the end of each theorem.
In the case of proofs, for example, this would be a small black square (instead
of the words “q.e.d.”). For examples, comments, definitions, etc., I would like
to mark the end of the respective text body with a graphic symbol (to be
defined) (which should have the same color as the header).

I started with the package amsthm and played around, but I don't see how I can
implement my layout wishes with it.

Again, I am attaching a short example to my mail that show both my intentions
and my attempts to realize them.

Greetings

Andreas
