When things get complicated, it is often best to open the LyX file with
a normal text editor, and do the search/replace there. This is one of
the advantages of the fact that our files are just text files. You may
have to use one that allows for regexes, but there are lots of those
around. You can also try writing a quick perl or python script to do it.
I often use this latter method.
