I try to combine newpax with LyX, since I have a lot of powerpoints, transformed to pdfs, that I want to import in LyX. Those powerpoint-pdfs have a lot of hyperlinks in them, that I would like to function also in the LyX-output. I add 3 such pdf's with hyperlinks in them:
* doc-input2.pdf from the documentation that ships with newpax, with a lot of links in it. * bestandmetlinkvanuitLyX.pdf, that I created myself with LyX, it has a simple hyperlink to www.google.be in it. * 4_2.pdf, created with powerpoint, with a lot of hyperlinks in it, to my own video material that I use for my teaching. When I don't use LyX at all, but MikTeX, everything works fine: * step1: I run the file extract-newpax.tex, using LuaLaTeX. This creates the 3 necessary .newpax files. I add them for completeness, but you can reproduce them yourself if you want. * step2: I run use-newpax.tex, using pdf-LaTeX, that produces a pdf where all the links work just fine. Notice that on page 2, the long text also has a hyperlink, and on page 3 the numbers 1, 2 and 3 also have links. Everything seems to function as expected, even the links to my video's in the last part. I renamed the result to "use-newpax MikTeX.pdf", but you can recreate it yourself if you like. But I would like to do step 2 using LyX, since I actually prefer using LyX instead of MikTeX to create my documents. I try to do this by simply (or "bravely?") importing the file use-newpax.tex into a LyX file, I also add the result of that (use-newpax.lyx). When I simply run that file in LyX, I get a pdf where only a few links in doc-input2 seem to work. The link behind the large text on p2 doesn't work anymore, also the links on p3 behind the numbers 1,2,3 don't function anymore. But the ones directing to the LaTeX project DO work. All the links in my own pdfs (bestandmetlinkvanuitLyX and 4_2) don't work. I renamed the output to "use-newpax LyX.pdf", but again, you can recreate it yourself probably). Two questions: * Since some links do work using LyX instead of MikTeX for step 2: how can I make all the links work using LyX? Why don't they all work? * (not so important, but probably interesting) Is it possible to perform step 1 using LyX? And or maybe combining step 1 and 2 in one LyX file? Stef
