Sorry for filling your mailbox with my messages. I just wanted to finish by saying that the culprit is the > \beamerdefaultoverlayspecification{<+->} line in my preamble. When I commented it, everything got better. I imagine that some of the defaults integrated in Beamer have changed, and my preamble is not working as it did with the old versions of Beamer.
