It seem I have the same problem as Michael Rumpf with some missing
files
in lyx-1.1.6fix1/lib, as I could see in the Lyx mail archive. But I
read:
Jean-Marc > In fact, all these files should have been created [...]
and then, next in the thread:
Michael > When I copy the files into the lib directory and call
Michael > "make install" I can launch LyX without an error.
[...]
Michael > creating textclass.lst
Michael > creating packages.lst
Michael > creating doc/LaTeXConfig.lyx
Michael > creating lyxrc.defaults
So my question is: what has happened between these two mails ?
Where did M.R. find the magic files ?
