What happens when you use Ghostscript outside of LyX? Can you view the
figure in GhostView?
You may be able to get things working by turning off display of figures
(I think theres an option in lyxrc/preferences-dialog). But if gv isn't
able to display your figures and gives a similar error then your figure
editor and ghostscript have a compatability problem.
