I have no experience with windows 11, but does the trust thing come from the browser or windows itself? What browser are you using? Do you have a screenshot?

but I have not done it myself yet though, so I can't tell more.

No need. The binaries that get uploaded to FTP are all signed with the LyX key. I only use yours to verify that I'm getting an uncorrupted file. But it's maybe good for users to know that we check *everything* for security.
