Thanks, I checked. Yes, it’s on. One further issue: LyX doesn’t display graphics: “error converting to loadable format."
But I just mention these issues as symptoms. My main issue is that I cannot open older LyX files, which is a serious headache. (Sorry, I’m not sure about the right way to reply to messages on the list)
