Dear Community, (OS: MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 LyX version: 2.3.3)
I can’t manage to make the A&A template work properly. I have followed all instructions in the User manual (Customization, section 5), I do have the aa.cls file installed, it can be seen by my default Tex installation: solm07:lyx posuna$ pwd /usr/local/texlive/2016/texmf-dist/tex/latex/lyx solm07:lyx posuna$ ls aa.cls Also the aa.layout is in place (following https://wiki.lyx.org/Layouts/Astronomy-Astrophysics <https://wiki.lyx.org/Layouts/Astronomy-Astrophysics>): solm07:layouts posuna$ pwd /Users/posuna/Library/Application Support/LyX-2.3/layouts solm07:layouts posuna$ ls aa.layout solm07:layouts posuna$ I have run the texhash: solm07:lyx posuna$ sudo texhash texhash: Updating /opt/local/etc/texmf/ls-R... texhash: Updating /opt/local/share/texmf/ls-R... texhash: Updating /opt/local/share/texmf-local/ls-R... texhash: Updating /opt/local/share/texmf-texlive/ls-R... texhash: Updating /opt/local/var/db/texmf/ls-R... texhash: Done. I ‘Reconfigured’ LyX, I have quit, started again, and keep having the same error when opening the aa.lyx from the Systerm Templates example: I have not been able to figure out any answer to this in the old mailing lists (all explain that aa.cls should be installed, which I have already done).
