Not having anything like Dr. Lisse's significant skill with lyx, but
wanting to try your version of soul.module, can you direct me to a
source of information on how to load a new module? I suppose it goes in
file:///home/johwhi/.lyx/lyxmodules.lst?

Though I am not Jürgen, I believe you can put it in your user directory
(listed in menu Help > About LyX, or LyX > About LyX). After you put it
there you need to run a Reconfigure (in menu Tools).
