Daniel, I've never used Word and use LibreOffice only when I need to read or send a processed word document to a client or regulator. Most of what I write is sent as a PDF attachment to an e-mail message. I also use grep, sed, and awk for manipulating text files. Then again, I've used only linux to run my business, and for personal use, for the past 21 years. Rich
