Interesting question (miktech vs. texlive). Additional consideration: * I have installed Inkscape and try to use this drawing tool instead of Visio * My current Inkscape installation allows me to insert TeX math and have it converted to a curve/object in Inkscape -- which I can then scale * In an *ideal* world, I'd like to keep the TeX math in the Inkscape drawing in a form that makes LyX scale the text so that it fits with the body text size of the document...
OK -- I haven't looked into LyX' recent Inkscape support, and don't know whether such scaling is supported -- and whether Inkscape support works for both Miktech and TeXLive... -B -----Original Message----- From: lyx-users@lists.lyx.org [mailto:lyx-users@lists.lyx.org] On Behalf Of Wolfgang Engelmann Sent: Friday, March 2, 2018 16:29 To: lyx-users@lists.lyx.org Subject: Re: texlive or miktech Am 02.03.2018 um 16:21 schrieb Rich Shepard: > On Fri, 2 Mar 2018, Wolfgang Engelmann wrote: > >> Which one is recommendable for the beginner: texlive or miktech?
