I'll just add that LyX 2.2.4 will be able to read 2.3.0 files. This is always true of the last version before a new major version. Richard PS If you just copy the new lyx2lyx files from here: http://git.lyx.org/?p=lyx.git;a=tree;f=lib/lyx2lyx;h=014d8bb452cf359819192d1796d65f9b10299a79;hb=HEAD into your 2.2.3 directories, then it will be able to read 2.3.0 files, too.
