OK, then please assure that you have the latest Win 10 including all patches offered by Microsoft's Windows update.
Then (or right now if you like) - uninstall LyX 2.2.1 _completely_ - then reinstall it using this installer: http://ftp.lyx.de/LyX%202.2.1/LyX-221-Installer-2.exe - report back thanks and regards Uwe
