I would like to come back to a question I had recently.
I have a background picture sized 24 KiB and a text image produced with
inkscape sized 9 KiB. The latter one should be on top of the former
(text over picture). How can I achieve this without ending with a much
too large final picture of over 600 KiB if exported from inkscape as a
pdf file?
Simple minded as I am I imagine there should be a way to display both
pictures in such a way, that the text lies on top of the picture. And
the resulting size should be not much larger as the two separate pictures.
Any proposals?
