What do you have under Tools > Preferences > Paths > Hunspell? In my opinion we should automatically fill that in (e.g. LyX should try to find the Hunspell libraries). See also: https://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-devel@lists.lyx.org/msg184250.html Scott
