Thanks for the help so far. Is it possible to run LyX with the
lyxrc.example file without any changes? I'm just trying to get the app
going to write german DIN letters with LyX. I hope that there is no need
to dig into the details and make any changes to the lyxrc.defaults
file...
But here is the next problem:

I searched for a similar named file "textclass" which I could rename to
textclass.lst, but I found nothing....
