Problems with a frozen cursor? That's pretty strange. All applications that I
know of either remove the cursor or freeze it when the application is not in
focus. I don't know the experiences of people who use "focus-follows-mouse";
perhaps they take more care before starting to type. As for me (clicking to focus
ever since) I either have to check the window decoration or watch for the cursor.
A blinking cursor always meant "ready to go" for me.

You see, this is not *my* rule; I would just suggest to cling to the habits of
other programs - just for the sake of homogenity of usage.
