I figured we'd see more of those redhat questions again, so here: With gcc packages from RedHat's update page (gcc-2.96-69) and xforms-0.88.1 (and corresponding devel package), I just got a clean compile of lyx-1.1.6, no errors. Runs fine. Users are cautioned to move ~/.lyx out of the way before running new lyx, as many options have changed. -- Paul E.
